Static hosting — when your site doesn't need a database
A static site is delivered as finished files rather than assembled by a server on every request. There's no database, no plugin stack and no admin login exposed to the internet, so there's very little to attack and almost nothing to break. Pages load faster because they're served straight from cache, and hosting costs a fraction of what a WordPress stack does.
It suits brochure sites, landing pages, documentation and anything built with a modern site generator. It doesn't suit a site whose owner edits it daily through a visual editor, or one that needs logins, bookings or a shopping cart — that's what WordPress and e-commerce hosting are for. We'll tell you which side of that line your site is on before you pay for either.
E-commerce store hosting, where downtime is lost revenue
An online store is the hardest thing on this page to host well. Checkout can't be cached, traffic arrives in spikes, the plugin surface is larger and every minute offline is money. A WooCommerce store on a general-purpose plan tends to work fine until the day it matters.
We host stores on resources sized for the checkout path rather than the homepage, with object caching, staging so plugin updates are tested before they touch live orders, and backups frequent enough that a restore doesn't lose a day of transactions. Card data stays with your payment provider where it belongs — we don't store it and neither should your store.
Managed means we do the maintenance
A WordPress site is a stack of software that needs updating — core, theme, plugins — and updates occasionally break things. Unmanaged hosting leaves that to you, which usually means it doesn't happen until something is exploited.
We apply updates, take backups before we do, monitor the site afterwards, and roll back if an update breaks something.
Backups you can actually restore from
Daily backups held off-site, with retention long enough to go back past the point where a problem started. That last part matters: if you only keep three days and a defacement went unnoticed for a week, the backups are all of the broken site.

Common questions
Before you call
Should we be on static or WordPress hosting?
If nobody logs in to edit the site day to day and there's no cart or booking system, static is faster, cheaper and far harder to break into. If you want to edit pages yourself in a visual editor, or you need logins, accounts or a store, WordPress earns its keep. We'll look at your site and say which it is.
Is e-commerce hosting different from normal WordPress hosting?
It should be. Checkout pages can't be cached the way normal pages are, so a store needs resources sized for the parts that always hit the database, plus staging so a plugin update can be tested before it meets a live order.
Will moving our site cause downtime?
It shouldn't. We migrate and test on a staging URL first, then switch DNS with a short TTL. Visitors are served from one working copy or the other throughout.
Do you fix the site if an update breaks it?
Yes. We back up before updating and roll back if something breaks. Fixing it is part of the care plan, not an extra.
Can you host things other than websites?
Yes — VPS, dedicated servers, private cloud on Proxmox, VMware, Nutanix or XCP-ng, plus cloud and backup storage.
What if we're locked into another host?
Most hosting is month to month even when it doesn't feel like it. We'll look at what you've got and tell you honestly whether moving now makes sense.
