Enter the domain you want to move and we will check what is needed for the transfer. A domain transfer normally requires the domain to be unlocked and an authorization code, also called an EPP code, from the current registrar.
The transfer fee is free. The renewal is not assumed
There is no Redsilicon fee to transfer the registration. The domain still has a renewal price set by its registry and registrar, and that price varies by extension. We will confirm the exact amount for your domain before you approve the transfer. You are not agreeing to an undisclosed renewal charge by sending this request.
The few checks that prevent a broken hand-over
- The domain is not within the registry transfer lock period.
- The current registrar has the correct registrant email address.
- Registrar lock is disabled for the transfer.
- The auth or EPP code is current where the TLD requires one.
- DNS, website and mail records are documented before the nameservers change.
Transfer the registration first, change DNS deliberately
A registrar transfer does not normally move your website or email. It moves control of the domain registration. We document the existing DNS records and keep them intact unless there is a reason to change hosting or mail. If you are moving the website to Redsilicon at the same time, we test the new hosting before changing DNS.

$0.00. Redsilicon does not charge a transfer fee. The domain renewal is separate, varies by TLD, and is confirmed with you before the transfer proceeds.
What is an auth or EPP code?
It is a transfer authorization code from your current registrar. Some domain extensions require it and some transfer paths do not. Leave the field blank if you do not have one yet and we will tell you what your domain needs.
Will my website or email go down?
A registration transfer normally does not change your website or email. We document DNS first and do not change nameservers unless you also ask us to move the hosting or mail.
Can you transfer any domain extension?
Most common extensions can be transferred, but rules and pricing vary by registry. We check the specific domain and confirm what applies before starting.
Should I send my registrar password?
No. Never send it through this form. We only need the domain name and, when required, the transfer authorization code.
Does transferring the domain include hosting?
